Community Events

Last year’s Wise Water Expo was a huge success. This year the Mar Vista Green Committee is planning an event titled the Wise Power Use Expo.  Having been selected as the pilot community for the EPA’s green energy program, Mar Vista has created a greater opportunity through their partnership with the EPA of achieving their goal of 100% Green Energy by 2018.  It’s a lofty goal but is achievable through a number of their efforts including  community events, the outreach from the Green Committee booth at the Mar Vista Farmers every Sunday, and the hopeful but soon to be realized City of Los Angeles’s Feed In Tariff program.  Watch for more.
